Artist Statement
I love the landscape
because of its endless
beauty and visual variety.
It is exciting and
mysterious. My work
captures fleeting qualities
such as light, weather,
atmosphere and time of
day. I also explore the
abstract elements of
nature, such as color,
pattern, line
and shape.

Spiritually I am connected
to nature. I am drawn to
the landscape because it
reflects my life: its
ever-changing quality;
lightness and darkness;
boldness and quiet;
beginnings and endings.
